At Vaughan we are committed to ensuring our pupils value the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle as well as excelling academically and that they understand that doing so will prepare them for a happy future. 

We receive grant money from the government in order to support us with adding to the quality of PE and Sport. The school utilises this funding to support with a number of aspects to empower a healthy and active lifestyle for our pupils including but not limited to: 

• Organising and supporting attendance at sporting fixtures 

• CPD for teachers to support the delivery of the PE curriculum 

• Hiring qualified sports coaches to work with our pupils and teachers 

• Booster swimming lessons for pupils in Year 5 & 6 who are not meeting the National Curriculum requirements for swimming and water safety.
