Curriculum Changes Academic Year 24/25 (Years 1-6)
Dear Parents/Carers
CURRICULUM CHANGES ACADEMIC YEAR 2024/25
YEARS 1 - 6
We wrote to you in September to inform you that the school is in the process of launching its revised curriculum offer.
We are inviting parents into school for an evening session where we will be launching the new curriculum areas with resources to view and samples of work that the pupils have completed.
On Wednesday 6th November at 6:30 pm we will be showcasing the English Curriculum and Wednesday 13th November at 6:30 pm we will be showcasing the Wider Curriculum.
On Tuesday 19th November at 5:00 pm, we will are having an online parent information session on ‘The School’s Curriculum’, giving parents the opportunity to learn more and ask questions about what the offer looks like now at Vaughan Primary School.
Please see the link in the email sent to parents.
We are very excited to share these new opportunities with you and hope that you will be able to join us, celebrating the launch of the curriculum.
Yours sincerely
MRS KAREN JONES

End of Day Arrangements
Dear Parents / Carers
END OF DAY ARRANGEMENTS
As we continue to settle into the Autumn term please see below information about end of day arrangements commencing on Monday 23rd September to ensure the safety of our school community during pupil dismissal:
- We will continue to operate a one – way system – please enter school via the pedestrian pathway at the red gates and exit via the driveway through to the red gates or continue up to the back exit via the pavement. There is no entry through the back gates – this is for exit only.
- The red gates will now open at 3.20pm every day
- All internal gates i.e. wooden gates, Reception gates and silver gates will now open at 3.25pm every day
- Please note - the outdoor play equipment on the large playground is not to be used at dismissal time. The school is only insured for this equipment to be used during the school day under the supervision of school staff – this does not include after the children have been collected.
If there has been a change to the adult who is collecting please email the office by 2.30pm on office@vaughan.harrow.sch.uk so the message can be shared with teachers in good time. Please do not email class inboxes to inform teachers as they will not be checking emails during teaching time.
Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a safe and happy dismissal for all our pupils.
Yours Sincerely
Mrs Karen Jones
